Hi all,

Anyone know how much Aloha Airlines charge for taking a board ,sail ,boom
and mast from Honolulu to Maui?

I can't answer for Aloha but just for comparison the last time on
American it was $80

just another question....
how did you move your gear from the international to the inter island
terminal at Honolulu?
is it a pain?

Interisland terminal is about a tenth to a quarter mile from stateside
baggage claim.  Toting your gear would be a moderate PITA.  Can you fly
direct to Maui or at least check your bags all the way through?

Oh, international?
That's on the Aloha side of the main terminal, probably around 200yrds.

so you could wheel it on a baggage trolley from customs to the Aloha check
in?

I'm sure you could get a skycap to wheel it over there for some bucks.
But there are direct flights to Maui from the mainland.

Probably.
The carts they rent are not going to be very good for that sort of thing and
you do have to go up an elevator. Not fun, but not impossible. Might be
worth the bucks to let a porter take it.

no they don't but Hawaiian Airlines do,unfortunately they dont fly direct to
Maui from Sydney
would make life easier if they did.
