Be sure to check your mast feet for a crack in the tendon.
To replace the tendon, use a hacksaw to cut the two bolts. You won't
have much success trying to get the bolts out because of the lock tite.
Be sure to buy the two bolts when you buy the tendon. The cost was $16
versus the $32 for a new base.
