Hi all
There was discussion recently about the law requiring the wearing PFDs while
windsurfing which I only took a passing interest in as I though "it'll never
happen here", well it has, in Auckland fortunately but someone down this way
may get the same idea so i'm interested in tracking down stuff on this subject.
If anyone acrchived the discussion i'd like to get it, otherwise/ also i'd
like feedback on:

arguments for bouyancy aids or lifejackets (there's a difference) while
windsurfing

arguments against

forms of legislation, ie are there exceptions for activities such as
windsurfing, how to discriminate between, boaties, yachties, canoeists,
surfers etc.
