Could anyone who has tried pushloops (and preferably is good at backwards
loops) please write to me about your pushloop attempts.

I'd be also interested to hear if these are possible off chop, or if
you really need a wave to get the height for the jump.

I sailed with Pascal Hardy on the Oregon Coast last summer and he was nailing
them. You need a steep wave ,just like you would look for doing a back. I
took some video of him and checked it out frame by frame. He really sheets
out after the rotation and sticks his ***out, lands 3/4 off the wind. He
makes it look too easy, like Ian Boyd makes backs look easy. I tend to
over-rotate when I try them , landing off the wind. Stalling at the apex is
critical. Matt and Kevin Pritchard have them pretty wired. Always something
to work on........
