Does anybody know anything good or bad about this sail?  I think I
might have good deal on a new one.

In 93, Neil Pryde made a very popular sail known as the Mark III; it had a good low end
as well as being able to handle overpowering conditions (especially if downhauled a lot).
94 brought out the Mark IV,  which had excellent speed, phenomenal handling in overpowered
conditions, but absolutely no low end.  NP also produced the "Race" which had a Mark III
shape, but had bat-cams, an improved batten tensioning system.

The Race is a good sail with excellent low end. Note that it was designed for rigging
on a stiffer mast than is currently popular.  It also favored negative outhaul, so that
it is not as good for pumping onto a plane as the newer VX ltd's; however, the deep draft
gives enough low end power that you don't need the pumpability as much.
