For those of us stuck on the west coast we need to rely on you to fill us in
on all the e***ment!  This sounds great, Clay.  Drop me a line when you
get back....I want to hear all about it.  I'm really interested in hearing
more about how the Hero Jibe Contest goes.

Have a blast and think of me while your shredding on your longboard!

Amy, How's it?
The Hero Jibe Contest and GardenBurger eating fest we had in the Gorge
Sept. 13 was great. 15-20 knot east winds at Stevenson. About 50
windsurfers found out how easy it was to give us their sail color/number
and repeatedly show off their best inside jibes for the three judges.

We had a tie for the top spot between Nevin Sayre and Brian Clark, a hot
turn and burn jiber who got 27 points from the judges by laying into a
smooth basic jibe that, at last minute, became a delayed duck jibe. He
didn't miss a beat.
