has the price of clark foam boards increased?

Just curious....

I havent followed the situation at all, but I'm assuming CF blanks are
still not available. Similarly, I think it would be awhile longer before
replacement production materials become available to shapers.

I hear that the price of CF surfboards has shot up.

By Spring there will be at least 7 new blanks manufactures in the USA
alone.  Things are coming back much quicker than most expected.  The
shortage will be in longboard blanks.

This is surprising news.  From what I heard, Clark had maintained a
reasonable price range by having some rather dated guidelines that finally
failed to satisfy EPA requirements?  This is hearsay, but I suspect the
growth of suburbia to encroach on his once-remote facilities had a lot to do
with it too.

Even given that California has more restrictive environmental standards than
most states, I suspected the replacement suppliers would be setting up
off-shore or in Asia to avoid the costs to operate a "clean" shop.
