Emerald Isle

The NCSU windsurfing club is planning a trip to Emerald Isle this spring.
Any info on this locale (spots, lodging, food etc.) would be greatly
appreciated.  Please reply via email unless you want to send info that
would be highly interesting to the whole group.  I have heard about Island
Rigs and definitely intend to visit there.  Keep in mind we will be a
significant group of wide abilities (v. beginner to race and wave).

Also helpful fac's that I could pass on to members would be nice.

Thanks in Advanced

K. Gwaltney
Mach 10 and Windy Too.

NCSU Windsurfing Club
Raleigh, N.C.

Spots: THE LIGHT (Hatteras), The Boilers, Behind the Dunes, Kitty Hawk Sports Whalebone, North of The Hole: JORDAN LAKE, RALEIGH, N.C.!!!!

There certainly is, and Funghi...
It will be busy on that week though, last year it seemed that  the  whole
of  Ireland  was on holiday there along with most of Germany, America and
France.  Really thick fog, made the place very weird.
If you have your own stuff, further down the west coast is  much  quieter
and  similar  conditions.   Anywhere  off the Ring of Kerry (on the Kerry
penninsula rather than the Dingle penninsula) is incredible.
Enjoy the crack
