Windfest or not, I am considering going to the Cape the weekend of the
16th, hang out, wait for wind and wave the KA Sails flag a little (will
have 07 demos to try and a few used sails to sell).

Any chance we can organize a wreckdot get-together?

Be careful how and what beach you wave that KA sail flag. I know at
Kalmus unless it's an town approved organized event you are not
allowed to fly or advertise with a flag. Years ago I was forced to
take down my F2 flag for such reasons.

After all, Cape Cod is still part of The Peoples Republic of
Massachusetts, home of the whining Liberals. ;-)

Btw... email Fred Veterlein about the first Underground Cape Cod

I didn't mean that literally ;-)
I will, however, have a few sails rigged with their logos clearly
visible and will (as a private person) lend sails to fellow sailors.

Yeah, back then I had a VW bus, put an F2 flag on a mast then duct
taped it to my bus. An hour later the beach supervisor came over asked
me what F2 meant, once she found out it was a sailboard manufacturer
made me take it down due town by-laws.

Not sure how ***they are now a days.

I got you beat, I had five of them. One bus, another bus (camper) and
three bugs.

It would be great if we could have a swap meet at the same time. A
kind of demo before you buy.

I would brag that I could roll joints faster than you, but your name
makes me timid about making such a claim.

Latest update from Fred Vetterlein:

Since this year's comp is underground, it's not heavily publicised.
But it's not exclusive and anyone with an interest in freestyle or
wanting to join is welcome. For now, you can contact

winds but we'll get together regardless as light wind freestyle has
also been reinvented. see http://youtube.com/watch?v=Stun4xr-ZCc
