Hello
i am 13 years old and live in the edinburgh area.  I am hoping to save
up for a new board with my paper round and was woundering what board i
should go for i have got a harness and usuallly go windsufing in quite
light winds using around a 6.0 - 6.5 metre sail
thanx for your help and could you please email me wiht your answers

If there is a windsurfing shop or store near you find out if they are
going to have a swap meet...  This way you could get a good kit while also
get some good sails too.  I don't know how much you weigh but if you have
been out you should know what size and style board you are comfortable
with.  I have a Mistral 315 Explosion that is great for going from
beginner to intermediate.  It will handle sails from 4.0 up to 8.0m and
has about 145l of volume so uphauling is realistic.  It will water start
and I'm told will gybe easily.  I'm still learning on it so...

Simon,

Contact your local RYA Regional rep.  Nay shop should have details of who it is.
They usually have equipment available for hire, that you can try before you
commit yourself to a purchase.

They will also be able to guide you with regard to training/lessosn etc.
