Had two sessions today, both maxed out on Ezzy 4.2 SE and RRD ***wave S
(old shape - good old high wind wave board) - this morning could have easily
been on a 3.5 - this afternoon was a lot calmer, but quite a crowd
out...............and looks good for tomorrow and into the weekend with big
Atlantic depressions coming over
This is the forecast for our local waters
North Foreland to Selsey Bill.
24 hour forecast:
Wind: southwest 5 to 7, occasionally gale 8 at first in the Dover Straits,
veering west 4 or 5.
Weather: showers.
Visibility: good.
Sea State: rough becoming slight or moderate.
Outlook for the following 24 hours:
Wind: west 4 or 5 backing southwest 5 to 7.
Weather: showers then rain.
Visibility: good becoming moderate or poor.
Sea State: slight or moderate, occasionally rough later.
And then
Outlook for all UK Inshore Waters for following 3 days:
Strong or gale force southwesterly winds at times over all waters from
Sunday to Tuesday. Winds will veer westerly later on Tuesday as a cold front
crosses from the west.
Water temp is still good - did wear winter suit today but was way to warm
and ended up quite dehydrated........bare feet good for another month or so
