I have the 7.8. On FS 4800 460, first try today, it seems a very nice
freerace sail.
-areas of exceptinonal stiching, maybe I haven't noticed before
on other sails but this looked different
-the xply parts are foot and leech, a fairly large application
of it and the good stuff with kevlar.
-really nice integrated mast pad sleeve at the tack as it velcros
on one side so the extension adjustment ring dosen't get hung up (real
nice for chinook users).
-rigs/derigs very easy for a high tension sail.
-rotates easily but very locked in, deep pocket
-the coolest boom cut out I've ever seen
-kind of dinky weird wear buttons on batten ends
-nice adjustment key and holder
-foot batten is old style buckle adjustment but a sophisticated one; I
don't understand this?
Only took it out to look at it on a Superlight in light winds which
obviously isn't what it was meant for, in the few gusts it really
wanted
to get moving, pulling straight forward but the board wouldn't let it
;-)
I am so far very impressed, I bought it upon reading that it was the
Lighting
(but earlier).
I can send you a few rigged pics if you would like.
