There are 2 basic threads used in sails today. A Dabond2000 UVR
Polyester of many sixes like V69, V92 etc. There is also a Gortex thread
that you can destroy!! Most windsurf sails that are sewn together use
the polyester. You can buy this from a sailmaker, canvas shop and
sometimes a local fabric supplier in the recovering arena.
If you are unable to locate the thread or wish to purchase thread,
monofilm, mylar, dacron, needles etc we can help you with that but, so
can sailrite and others.
