Club Med Windsurfing - other than St. Lucia ?

Hi Folks,

My wife and I are trying to decide on a Club Med destination, OTHER
THAN ST. LUCIA, that has more than passable equipment and wind.
We were at the St. Lucia club last year and found plenty of wind, but
were surprised to find that we had to pay 100$ (US) extra for monofilm UP
sails. What was included were some old blown out Aerotech sails which
could not handle the 20+ winds (the UP sails were beautiful).

Additionaly, we had to guard our equipment after coming off the water
(otherwise it would be given away by the GO's), one hut for all guests to
use for shelter on the beach and there was a lack of any for 3 days after
we arrived (we were not made aware of this before we booked the
vacation).

So why in hell would we go back to Club Med ? Because we wrote them a
7 page letter of complaint, explaining our experiences, and they gave us
a fair discount on any other Club Med destination.

I know Club Med is not known for advanced windsurfing, but the food
is good and the atmosphere is fun and we must use the their offer by next
April. BTW- The wind was pretty good there and I understand that there is
BIC club opening at the same spot.

We've also been fortunate to go to Aruba, Margarita, Maui and St.
Thomas so we're always looking for other destinations.

Thanks for any help,
Gary

P.S. - If anyone would like more info about the St. Lucia Club Med, just
write me (I know people have asked about it in this newsgroup)
