Anybody knows which mast (length, IMCS) is good for BiC Fun Slalom 5.7m2
sail?
The sail is 4 year old ('96), boom 190cm, length 448cm, (max variotop
approximately 22cm). I didn't have any 430cm long mast (I gess that is the
right size) so I put it on some 465 cm long mast (imcs 25), and the sail
shape wasn't as it shold be but I went sailing, and after few times sailing
I broke bottom batten pocket. Obviously the shape of the mast wasn't right
(I guess becasue of the different IMCS),...
Any information is useful. Thanks in advance.

because your mast is too long, the sail is rigged on the lower, thus
stiffer
part of the mast. So, with your 5.7, the 465/25 may be equivalent with a
4.30/28,
which is too stiff! you should try a 430/25, or 430/23.
