by Arrived at Avon Fri Nov 10 about2 pm Wind calm air mid 60s. Checked
the light house and it was calm waves 1to2ft. Three surfers trying
to catch waves.
Sat morning at 630 it was blowing 20 knots from the south, air mid 60s.
Went to the Point (1 mi W of lighthouse). Wind about 25 kts. sideshore
most of the day. 7 ft faces, 12 ft seas on the outside. Air was 68f
1/2 of the sailors in shorties. The shore break was fully makeable.
Fact 10 masts, 2 sails, 2 boards including a former world cup guy's
board were broken. Hank and I lost no equipment.
Later we left the Ocean and sailed the pond on a 3.6 until blown off
the water. pond waves approaching 1 ft. Way too Rad.
