Good in its day - still a good thing, especially for someone who wants a
calm, smooth board thru chop.  A beginner around here had one and then
sold it after a few years for a procession of full-on race slalom custom
designs, and guess what - he's now noticably slower on the customs,
fluffs most of his gybes and struggles to get planing in conditions he
revelled in on the old Sunset Slalom!  Make what you like of it!

The Sunset slalom is a GREAT board!  I had one for years.  I was fast,
comfortable and could jibe the thing.  The newer ones are better cause the
track is a little further back, and the straps are pulled back too.
