Sport Today

Any words on the spring shops in the Toronto area?  Is there still a
windsurfing show at International center????

Last year's show was a bit of a letdown, only the good local stores you
visit anyways were there, and no overall windsurfing theme.  I'd call
silent sports and boardsports and ask them - and I look forward to your
post.

The new hobie cat with the undewater wings was neat to see at the show
though last year.

Check out the Cottage Show.
It's usually held at the convention centre near Pearson
Airport in early May.
Boardsports and Silent Sports were there last year, not
alot of used gear, but some stuff that was used as demos
were for sale, I believe.  I think there usually is a huge
swap area at either the cottage show or the boat show, I
forget which one.. sorry.
Windmachine on Queen street has a really good swap sale in
the spring (last year it was April 26th, whole store was on
sale, BBQ, etc.) - you should call them at (416) 694-5779
or 1-800-537-4587.  They sell used stuff all year.

Just found out: The Cottage Life Show, International
Centre, 6900 Airport Rd. at Derry Rd., free parking, just
north of the airport.
Held March 27 to 29. (earler than usual)
If you can't pick up a copy of Cottage Life magazine to get
the details, email me.  They usually have plenty of
windsurfing stuff, I will look into it to see what will be
there this year.
