East Coast Formula Championships/BABA
Midatlantic Series Race
and Camp Out

Okay Folks,
I know that it's not the same as Hatteras but it's a lot closer for you
northeners and there's camping and food provided.  That's right, you
heard right, the secret word for tonight is food.

BABA  (http://windsurfbaba.org/ ), East of Maui Boardshop
(http://www.eastofmauiboardshop.com/ ) and the Anne Arundel Recreation
and Parks are bringing the East Coast Formula Championships/BABA
Midatlantic Series two day race weekend to Mayo Beach Park on September
24 - 25. This event is part of the US Windsurfing National Race Tour
and is BABA's first foray into hosting a national race.

There will be a check in party at East of Maui Friday (23rd) evening
and racing on the Chesapeake Bay Saturday and Sunday.
Lunches and a catered dinner will be provided in the pavillion at the
park and also a continental breakfast will be there waiting for you
when you wake up on Sunday.  (unfortunately at this time we do not have
camping priveleges for Friday Night.)

The cost for the entire package, including racing is $75.  Non Racers
will pay $40 for entry into the park, camping and meals and sailing all
day.
Spectators can get park entrance for $5 per car.

If you want to try a different sailing site here it is.  Food, camping,
water, and maybe wind.

Also, there will be lots of demo gear to test (both days) from HiFly,
EZZY, Chinook, DAKINE and on Sunday morning you can drive to East of
Maui for their Fall Swap meet and get back in time for the first start
of racing.

So what are you waiting for?  Check out the two links for directions
and times and make plans to visit Annapolis Maryland.
We could make this a mini- Windfest.
