This is my first posting ........
***************************************************
Does anyone have any suggestions for a good place
to spend one week windsurfing in January (i.e,
beautiful blue water, warm, sunny). My husband and I
are beg-intermediate windsurfers, and want a
good place to work on our jibes- also we were
interested in a place that offered lessons.

Check out Florida. WINDSURF Mag. has had a few articles on the Sunshine
State covering the East and West Coast. January's pretty good for us with
Northeaster's making very good wave-sailing conditions, while the
in-land waterways provide excellent beginning to intermediate
conditions.  Check out the Florida Keys.

This is certainly true.  However, you may want to know what to do in case
of a stingray attack*.  (The upside of having gotten stung is that you will
never ever again worry about getting bitten by a shark :-) )

make it worse.  Go to the hospital.  In the future, walk softly over
  muddy bottoms...
