Whats the scoop on the WindGlider for 2001?

Anyone know the latest innovations from the trade shows regarding the
Mistral WindGlider for next year?

I've got the 1999 model, have to sell it since my kids learned faster
than expected.  For what its worth the service attitude at NorthSports
was awesome when needed.

Whats the scoop on the WindGlider for 2001?

I saw the new one at the Trade Show in Sept, and there were no real
innovations for 2001. Maybe some decorative changes, and a few minor
technical details.
But most of the major wrinkles have been ironed out over the last few
years. For anyone who hasn't been keeping score:  The masts are now
stronger and have plugs in each section to keep sand and water out. The
hull is a bit tougher than the original version; the tips of the fins
are more pointed for easier insertion into the hull; the Power Glide
option has zippered slots for the fins to go through; the handles are
real handles built onto the hull rather than the blue rope ones; the
carrying case is sturdier and padded. Way back in the first year they
improved the boom attachment, and the UJ.
