I recently received my Exocet Pacer 300.  Here is a link to some pictures:
http://windsurfillinois.com/mb/viewtopic.php?t=168 .  I've only been
windsurfing for a little over a year, so my opinion of the board may be
insignificant to most. I will say that I really like it.  I wanted to put up
some better pictures of it since no manufacturer ever gets the shots we want
to see.  I've had two sessions on the board now with a 9.5.  I hope to put
up some video of the board in action soon.  I'll post when I get that done.

Very nice! Looks like this board is going on my "have to get one" list.

I'm new at this myself. If you can, be more specific on the mast/sail
combinations.

Thanks, Nice shots.

Do you have an offset weed fin you can try in it and see if the dagger
board clears?

I'm using a Maui Sails 9.5 MS2 , Maui Sails 75% carbon 520 mast, and Neil
pryde aluminum boom.  I'd prefer to have a carbon boom, but can't afford
one.  I also use an adjustable outhaul.

I do have an offset weed fin. I will try it when I pull the board out of the
trailer tomorrow.  I'm pretty sure it will clear.

Awesome, thank-you.

Sure looks the business.
Actually saw one live in Hatteras but couldn't really
comprehend it at first glance. The big centerboard and fin
made me think it was a powerful board though.

Hi Frank:  Thanks for posting the shots.  The more people get jazzed
about some of the new efforts in designing boards with centerboards,
the better we might be able to encourge others to stick with the sport
even if they don't live in a high wind location.  Looks like it will be
a lot of fun!

I went out on my new Kona this past Sunday in sub-planning conditions
and have to say sailing with daggerboards is pretty fun. The longboard
isn't dead, although I do prefer planning sailing is sailing and its
great to be out on the water.

Very interesting pictures, thanks for posting them.  It looks like the board
is begging for a flap at the back, having just a little point back there with
the fin far back.

        Thanks,
                Cliff

I tried out the weed fin and it clears just fine. I also kicked
out the centerboard partially to measure the distance from the deep tuttle
box to the tip of the centerboard.  That distance is 4.75 inches. So your
fin can overlap just under that distance and be fine.
