Mistral "Tea Stains"

Anyone out there had any problem with stains on the bottom of the board
that appear to be bleeding into/under the skin from the inside. I have a
friend with this problem on a new Screamer (278?). At first I suspected a
boardbag was "dying" the board from the liner's cloth, but the board bag
is very old (6 years+?) and probably not the cause. A quick shot of bleach
or mild scrubbing with "Comet" doesn't seem to remove the stain. The "tea
stain" seems to be under the ASA skin.

Mistral, as well as other large production board builders, use plain steel
staples to hold the stack of materials together as they are loaded into
the molds. Any moisture in the boards at all, from common scrapes and
bruises, will start these staples rusting, and bleeding brown sauce.
Bet that's what you got
