Mr Wardog is right when he says get a good fin. Make sure you are qualified
correctly for a fin with your board.The comments in this string on technique
and spinout are valid, ( See Roger's comments) but with the right fin sailors
of all abilities will almost never spin out.

When there is spinout, it is almost always the fin, or how it is fit or placed
in the box. The few times it is not usually involve downhaul and outhaul
adjustments on the sail.
