Hi,

A couple friends are doing the North Face of Grand Teton next Saturday or
Sunday.  I would like to join them with a second team (not as a third which
would be too slow!)  They will move fast, so having four up there would be
no problem.

I am assuming some Utah SLC metro climbers might see this and possibly
desire to give it a shot.  If so, let's talk.

Steve

PS - Why am I posting?  >95% of the climbers I know are too inexperienced
or intimidated to consider this route.

I received two responses to my previous post and unless weather or Teton
Glacier bergschrund conditions prohibit, the climb is on.

All four of us plan this to be one day trip from the Lupine Meadows Parking
Lot, starting at 3 AM.  Camping is too much work!!!  Just climb!

Steve

PS - Did a solo day trip from the parking lot on Grand Teton last Saturday
and was first to summit at about 8:30 AM.  Lots of ice made the going  a
bit tricky requiring much caution after Friday night's thunderstorms glazed
the summit with verglas.
