I am hereby publicly apologizing for my hate mail about Eugene Miya.
I have discovered that he *can* and *will* sue. I have no desire to
tangle with powers that are greater than my own. I was wrong to insult
him and do not want to face any repercussions. Do not take this lightly.
  he is *serious*.

Poor, Poor Max

I contacted him via email after his original post warning
him not to mess with Eugene.  He didn't take my advice
and now this happens.  Well, to others of you out there,
let me say this:  You can't beat Eugene at his own game.  He
is the KING of the net.  Just accept it!!

Of course, ignoring him is perfectly acceptable, right Bobbie?
What's that in his .sig  ... seeking RECOGNITION or something

This discussion no longer concerns climbing.  I strongly suggest it
be taken off-line.

Being "KING of the net" is a dubious distinction.  Sort of like being the
lord of the flies.

Max, there is no need to apologize.  Stand up fellow.
It was an exercise.  A serious exercise, and NOT in any way a joke.
Eric felt you weren't a good candidate.  Don't sweat it.
In fact I got multiple email asking if it will continue because people want
to learn about legal aspects.

Accounting so far:
Spoke to one policeman friend for points of contact on summons.
Spoke to one net JD (lawyer) to arrange for a meeting.
I was planning on talking to a climbing judge (superior court) next.
These guys are all willing to help educate the public on law.
Still to be resolved was the type of suit.
At this point I received the safe word from a person with an interesting
legal story.  Your ID is "safe."

King?  Hardily.  That's a laugh.  Better to think of me as a net.ranger.
Every one has these opportunities and capabilities.  But I will say that
I'm terrible with Poker: can't bluff worth a darn.

Continue posting.  Saw a couple of decent posts from you.

Time to go skiing.

I thought I had been following developments on this thread, but this
recent series of posts makes absolutely no sense. What mock trial? Who's
choosing whom? Why the insults? Does Eugene actually climb? And who in the
heck is holier-than-thou (aside from the obvious candidate(s)).

If you fellows intend to go cryptic, I'd suggest you do so privately.
