Back once again

Hello everyone,

I've been just a lurker on usenet groups since my ISP in Canada
stopped carrying a usenet server. I'd only been able to find free news
servers that allowed one to read, but not to post any messages until
now. I've just found a free news server called eternal-september
(www.eternal-september.org) that allows posting as well and this is my
first attempt to use it.

Please let me know that this worked and that there are other people
that are still on rec.kites. Hopefully we can start some new
conversations.

It's working fine Eric. I just switched to eternal-september too as I was on
Motzerella and they have changed the name to eternal-september for some reason.

As far as rec.kites goes it is very quiet these days, maybe a couple of posts
per month but I still check it every day in case there is an interesting thread
to follow. ;)

Hey Eric,

your post looks good. I still lurk on rec.kites (old habits are hard to
break) but there isn't
really anything here anymore. Depending on how you look at it, the SPAM is
either way down (numerically), or way up (as a ratio to the number of
posts). At best a small handful of posts occur here each month.

Talk to you on TKF...

Keep looking up,

Thom
