so I said

"Well - I was very disappointed that I never received the kite video that
you
promised to send."

The chap then promised to look into what had happened

This was 27th May and I'm still waiting.

Did you ever have confirmation that you were one of the 5 winners?
AFAICR, none of your previous posts point to this being the case.

Why is this rude ? I'm just responding to the chap who posted

"I was very disappointed with the result that only one of five persons
responded when I sent my video tape which includes steps "how to build
flapping crow kite".
Why do they not response my goodwill ?
Where did manners of kite enthsiast had gone ?"

which I found rather insulting as he implied that I been very ungrateful
with what he had sent me. The fact of the matter was that having been
promised this video twice it never arrived.

I must admit to a degree of frustration as I was planning to use that video
at cub scout camp (I am a scout leader) - I'd told the boys about this
marvellous chap on the other side of the world who was sending us this video
and we were intending to have about twenty boys making and flying kites at
camp. But as the thing never arrived I had to disappoint the boys. Oh we did
kites, but they were looking forward to a parcel from overseas. Have you
ever had to let down a small boy? - I wouldn't recommend it.

Yes - I did. Twice.

Did anyone else get a video, or is it just me ?

I received mine promptly after I was notified of being a winner.  Masami
Takakuwa was a pleasure to correspond with as well. It is a shame that your
scout troop didn't get the video so they could make the kite.  I can imagine
how the birds would go crazy over 20 or so of these in the air.

Try Emailing him again if you are still after the Video.  I would have
thought that would be better than a public announcement.

Otherwise I'm pretty sure that he has detailed instuctions of how to make
the kite on his web page.

HTH

P.S. Don't worry, I doubt the boys were that upset, after all you still made
kites.
