Post by Coast Guard Kitema » Tue, 08 Apr 1997 04:00:00

Hello, all.  I received a flyer in the mail April 1st for this
kite festival.  NO, THIS ISN'T AN APRIL FOOL'S JOKE!  I received
one last year as well, but like last year I *won't* be able to
attend this one, either.  [Which is REALLY a shame since my mother-
in-law will be staying with us at the time!]  Anyway, here's what
the flyer says:

April 12, 1997

The Third Annual Bedford Wind Festival will be held at Liberty
Lake Park on April 12, Saturday from 10:00 on.  The event will
feature kites of all kinds, free kite making workshops for children,
sport kites, ballet demonstrations, fighter kite flying/competition
