Ya know Roger, Laying on carpets must pay a heck of a lot more than
fixing the tools we all love (sewing machines).... You are Always buying
new stuff!  I don't even have a camera, except those ones you turn in to
get processed...  ;-)
But keep up the good work bud.....

I'll be the first to admit that I am married to a workaholic who loves me
very much :-)

But... I go for *cheap* tools. The camcorder I bought is a Hi-8 Sony
Handycam, and you can get it for around $375 at Circuit City. I have a video
card (not a high-dollar thang, either... less than $200) that has an S-video
or RCA input... that's all you need!
I have the materials for making a couple of Roks... I think one 8 footer
and one 10 footer... I traded a friend labor for kitemaking materials...
The image splitter for Kite Aerial Stereo (3D) Videography will be homemade
for a few dollars... I still need to experiment, but it will consist of a
few mirrors and some basswood or possibly something lighter... Styrofoam
will even work...

Other than that, a steak dinner every couple of weeks or gas for a trip
around the Olympic peninsula on a beautiful weekend like this one, and I'm a
happy camper... but I do get tired of Grape-Nuts in between treats ;-)

Less is more. (More or less :-)
