Only 146 days to go!!

And guess what, it will be a full moon around the time we are out there!
Right over head at about 10pm!
It's like someone planned it!!

Cold!  Southern California Deserts can get quite cold... not quite
freezing but sure feels like it.  There are some inexpensive hotels nearby
but a few brave souls stayed out on the desert overnight to keep an eye on
the equipment and keeping warm by wrapping themselves up in kites....
Talk about obsession... sleeping with your kites.

Count on the temp getting down to the high 30's.  I'll be camping again
this year, brrrrr....

Dean...

I know Scott Dyer pretty well...and while I fly a number of kites, I don't
buggy...YET...I'd be happy to assist with the endurance event, and will
let Scott know, too.

PS we will have a camp-site out there for sure.  Yes it is cold at night,
last time my water bottle was frozen every morning even when i left it in
my tent!  However, icarex is an excellent insulator!  Just pile kites on
till you sweat!  No problem!  Bring a tent and remember it needs to be
fairly wind proof(rigid).
