I'm thinking about selling my old wipika and buy a new set of Naish
kites. I found a place who has them in stock but they are expensive.
The price of 9 m2 is 1100 USD.

Do you think I have to wait till new kites come on the market. Is there
any news allready ?

With the KTAI convention just getting over in New Orleans you may want to
check around because there is suppose to be some new kites coming out.

Check out the new Waterfoil from Peter Lynn in New Zealand. They are
supposed to be great kites at about half the cost of regular water kites.

Rev has a 16 ft water kite coming out - has massive presence if not a heck
of a lot of pull.
pretty cool looking. not sure if it will be easier to handle or not when
compared to the power foil type kites.

You can see pics of the Revolution's new traction kite in the Photo Gallery

The new traction kite from Revolution carries the prototype name
AfterShock.
At the KTA Show in New Orleans no one could miss the giant prototype in the
Revolution's booth.
Although no one flew it at the show it could have promise.

The kite has a 9/16" diameter carbon leading edge which is foam incased
for flotation. It looks like fun but of course the proof will be in the
flying. :-)
