Well, Ive been banned from buggyin at my favorite public park! Im not
sure if this is a common problem in the kite buggying community, but seems
to be the way here in California (a very litigious state). Im in the
process of presenting my case to the park superintendent in the hopes of
overthrowing this decision (no particular official statutes saying I cant
buggy!) or at least getting a variance. I buggy in a responsible matter,
staying away from others and relegating my activity to the fallow portions
of the park (open fields with little to no foot/bike traffic).
I seek advice: Have you been banned from buggying at any venues? Did you
fight the ban? Any advice on how to fight a banning decision? Any other
information or links that I can use in my case?
Your help would be greatly appreciated. I would like to have my case (in
writing) together and finished by July 13th (I know its only a week what
can I say).
Eric.
PS. The park in question is Fairview Park in Costa Mesa, California, USA.
