I guess I should have been a little more clear as to what kind of sking in
my earlyer post. Im looking for info for winter kite sking info like using a
kite to pull me across a frozen snow covered lake that soet of thing. i have
a stylus 2.8 but dont know if that is big enough to do the job. any info

it's plenty big for that job, providing the winds are with you.  The only
problem is the Styli are fast moving kites for foils and it might be a
little difficult catching consistant winds as it moves around in the sky.
For this reason people usually prefer slowing moving or quad line (you can
hold them in place) for traction kiting.  But sure - the Stylus2.8 will
work, I've used it to ski in the sand at beach with no problem.

Heck yah it'll pull you around on the ice! In a low friction environment you
could prolly get dragged around by a small pack of rabbits! If they could
keep any traction that is. We've used a winddance 2 to get dragged around in
the water before, so I'm sure the 2.8 will drag you on ice. Just remember,
its not a quad, you have to keep it moving. I haven't flown the stylus, but
if its anything like the winddance, its faster than snot but real
controllable, so shouldn't be too much trouble doing figure 8's to keep it
in the zone.
