Where to ski in Les Deux Alps

Where to ski in Les Deux Alps

I'm hitting the slopes on 18th March. Does anyone know where's best to ski or where to miss?
Reports on the nightlife would come in handy too!

Cheers!

Try the slopes called 'devil' and 'superdevil' (perhaps in french)
They are located on the 'main' side. The bottom of the 'super' is at
the right hand side at the top of the 4-seat-egg-lift whitch starts in the village.
The devil is the one from the bottom of the 'superdevil' and down.
These slopes requires a lot of snow, but then they are great for
off-pist skiing.

If you go all the way to the upper top there is a track leading to the top of
La Grave (on the other side of the mountain) but you will need a guide
to take you safe down there (no marked slopes and 'much' nature).

The bar/pub/place called Rodeo (hope I'm right on this one) is a must
in the evening if you are looking for rock&roll and totally uncontrolled
madness. There is (at least) one disco in the middle of the village
but i don't remember its name.

For off piste skiing, the Challance is very nice. Also there are some
great tours down to St. Christophe (a small village) from the top of the
glacier,
but than you will have to ski/walk/take taxi down to Venosc, where there is a
lift
that takes you back to Deux Alpes. There is also a route down to the valley
about
5 km up from Venosc. Long and steep(about 1600 meters in one run if I remember
correctly.)

Nightlife: At the discos, usually alot of mad Italians. La Casa is the most
exclusive and expensive one.
Avalanche and Club 92 are average. Brassillian (by the cinema) has the best
atmosphere in my opinion.

Bars: For Englishmen: you will probably like Mike's Bar or Sloppy Joes(Has
cable
Tv with crickett). But Mike is a psycopat.

Don't miss the Fantastic skishow "LE SKI MEMORY SHOW", show every
thursdaynight(I
think),
shows evolution  of skiing and skitechniques from Aslaksson, Sondre Nordheim
and
up till today.
