For off piste skiing, the Challance is very nice. Also there are some
great tours down to St. Christophe (a small village) from the top of the
glacier,
but than you will have to ski/walk/take taxi down to Venosc, where there is a
lift
that takes you back to Deux Alpes. There is also a route down to the valley
about
5 km up from Venosc. Long and steep(about 1600 meters in one run if I remember
correctly.)
Nightlife: At the discos, usually alot of mad Italians. La Casa is the most
exclusive and expensive one.
Avalanche and Club 92 are average. Brassillian (by the cinema) has the best
atmosphere in my opinion.
Bars: For Englishmen: you will probably like Mike's Bar or Sloppy Joes(Has
cable
Tv with crickett). But Mike is a psycopat.
Don't miss the Fantastic skishow "LE SKI MEMORY SHOW", show every
thursdaynight(I
think),
shows evolution of skiing and skitechniques from Aslaksson, Sondre Nordheim
and
up till today.
