Broken Geze Bindings--Am I alone?

Broken Geze Bindings--Am I alone?

Last week, while skiing at Breckinridge, one of my Geze S70 bindings broke
(at the top of the T-bar on Peak 8, of course).  While these bindings are
4 years old, I have only skied with them 10-12 days total over that period
of time.  I also had them checked and adjusted two weeks ago.  While they
are considered out of warranty, it seems to me that this is a very
premature failure.  Has anyone else had a problem with Geze bindings, and
did you have any satisfaction in getting the problem fixed??

What exactly broke on them? I'm curious. Geze has a history of making a very
reliable product and is usually pretty good with their warranty, but I
don't know if they'd go 4 yrs or not. 10-12 skiing days is definitely
WAY premature. Try your shop first and see what they suggest. They or
Geze may be able to be persuaded into some kind of compromise if you
make enough noise.
