I would think you would have to go more than two solar cycles to draw
any conclusions. Plus, ocean heating/cooling cycles (70-80 years?).
Besides, NASA data show the atmosphere has actually been cooling very
slightly over the last two decades since they have had the capability to
measure global averages ("the overall trend in the data is downward,
about 0.06 degrees C per decade"):

There has been observed temperature increases at ground level which may
be contributing but that goes against the global warming predictions if
you read further on the links.
