Asking opinion on Salomon 9000 EXP 2S

Does anyone here has any experience with Salomon 9000 EXP 2S as
all-mountain skies? What else you would recommend for the advanced
skier?
  Thanks for the help.

Have 'em. Love 'em.
My recommendation: go buy 'em.
(though i'm not a gear head and so i don't know what the competition is
doing.)

Alex,

They're my favorite pair of skis.  I've had them for 3 seasons now, and along
with several other pair of Salomons I use
them for all-around ski patrol work.  They have a huge sweet spot, are cat-like
on hard snow, and ski powder in the trees equally well.  The waist underfoot is
so narrow that you barely have to roll your knees to put the skis on edge.
That also brings up their only drawback that I've noticed, and that is their
tendency to be squirrely at mach speed.  Other than that, they're a gem.  I'm
a light guy (135 lbs), and therefore much appreciate their light weight.

BTW, if you're looking for a lovingly-cared-for used pair, mine are going on
the market.  Why, you ask, when I love them so much?  Working on a ski patrol,
I trade at least a pair a year thanks to the programs available for ski pro-
fessionals, and this year it's the EXP's turn.  $250 + shipping with Salomon
977 EXP bindings, and they're a PR6 (approx 194 cm).  Included will be a final
tune.  If interested, respond via E-mail.

One note: I'm not raving about these boards because I'm selling them - I'm not
that cunning.  My opinions voiced here are heartfelt and genuine.

I used the Soloman 9000 last year for Patrolling and found them to be
a great all-mountain ski. You may also want to look at the Dynastar CMG.

Ditto ollie's comment. I also patrolled and raced on them. They virtually
know when you want to turn!. Easy turn initialtion and excellent ice hold.
