Sport Today

I noticed that both A-Basin and Loveland have Base elevations over 10000 feet,
10800 at A-Basin and what looks to be 10400 at Loveland!  Since I am going skiing
late in the season (April 13 through 21), I was figuring these two places to still
be up and running!  I am absolutely sure about A-Basin, but is the same true for
Loveland?

The reason I am asking, is that some people may be with us and they are not quite
as experienced skiers and I know Loveland is a managerie of Blues and Greens!  Any-
how, since the Winter has been somewhat dry so far, I am assuming it could be another
great Spring...did not the same thing sort of happen last year?

April 13-21:

   Loveland, Arapahoe, Breckenridge, maybe Keystone (not sure about
   their closing date), and Copper will all be open, providing the snow
   isn't really, really bad.  At worst, Arapahoe and Loveland will be
   open.

   Steamboat will be closed, Vail/Beaver Creek will close on the 16th
   or so.

: Actually, Vail recently announced they would be open through April
: 24.,..the snow cover is generally very good in April (second snowiest
: month in CO), its consistency can often be suspect at lower evaluations...

: A-Basin and Loveland are good bets...  Don't be too threatened by

Don't go there.  Go to Keystone instead.  No greens.  No blues.  Just Double
Diamonds.  The whole mountain.

No, that won't work. Testosterone loaded tourists will show up just for
the challenge. What you want to say is:

No snow !!! A basin sucks big time. They never have any snow and
when they do the rocks are so big that they poke through !!!
