Garnet Hill Trip-Friday

Garnet Hill Trip-Friday

Hungry, for snow, and frustrated that Lapland Lake still isn't open, I took
the long drive to Garnet Hill in North River, NY. There I skied 35km classic
on "classic" junkie snow: Three inches of granulated packed snow covered
with two inches of powder.

Of course there were no tracks. Interesting that usually in the early season
when we'd benefit from tracks the most, they are absent.

Felt good about the new Toko Carbon kick wax. The blues went on very
smoothly, and lasted better than I would have expected.
