What are you opinions of the above mentioned ski? Either the 2S or the
3S. I'm thinking about buying them. _Snow_Country_ magazine ranked the
2S 2nd in their Ultra All Mountain category under the Salomon Prolink EXP
2S Demo. And _Ski_ magazine gave the 2S a gold medal for Short Turn All
Mountain. The 3S got a gold medal in the mogul ski category.

I like to ski bumps and go off the trail into the trees, bowls, and all
that. I'm also just getting into cliff jumping. Which ski would be
better for me? The 2S (all mountain) or the 3S (mogul)?

Unless you need the Solomon logo, save yourself some money
and get K2 MSL. They are as good on bumps as the 9.1 3s.
Neither ski holds the edge too well, and they have comparable
stability. If you are planning on skiing in bowls, however,
K2 MSL is a better ski IMO.

3S is better in bumps, the only preference that would clearly say 2S to me
would be if you'd said that you like speed on groomed slopes. here the 2S
is clearly superior.

I had a pair of the 3s which I really liked, until the edges started
to come off, Solomon sent me a new pair of Equipe 9100 3s which I like
alot too, probably better than the Super force, but their more
expensive, I lucked out with the trade in because their shipment of
Super force 3s from france was cancelled.
