best between Rossignol 9S and Salomon Prolink superforce

Hi.
I need help. I am about to buy new skis to replace my "old" 4SK
(1m98).
I hesitate between rossignol 9S and Salomon prolink superforce (or
something else,why not?).
I know they have not the same "program" but each of them has
qualities. My level is quite high (any black and some off-piste).
I like gullies, 40degrees slopes, short turns and moguls.

        Any advice will be useful.

                Thanks, Fred

My money would go on the 9S.   This ski now incorporates the Dualtec
concept of straight sidewall plus cap as opposed to traditional
construction.   It handles beautifully in short radius plus it has been
made more stable for higher speeds in longer turns - ideal for those
times you want to crank it up.   Rossi are also going shorter in lengths
so if you skied a 4sk 198cm then would suggest you go 193cm with the 9S.
Prolink Superforce is a good ski which will do the job for you, neither
will let you down.   Rossi also produce a Dualtec mogul/extreme ski -
the 9SM which is also worth looking at.

Hope this helps

Regards

I replaced my 4s skis with superforce 9.1 prolink 2S.  first thought was
they didn't have very much kick from edge to edge, but i later found
them to be easier going in crud off piste, so what is important?

quick turns are still possible, but you have to work harder.

After the first day I was sick and wanted to go out and buy the 3S
version, now I think I've changed my mind.

off to les arcs tomorrow, we'll se when we get back.
fruit!

back from les arcs now, the prolink 2s's performed really well in
afternoon slush, in moguls, on steep icy pistes etc, in short they did
everything i wanted, except perhaps that they are a little slow from
edge to edge on hard piste.

snow, btw, very warm for much of last week, about 10cm snow fell about
monday, i forget exactly when.  best snow up at grand col lift,
especially off piste.
