1.5 m training

Recently I have been experimenting with ( and getting used to
intervals themselves ):

    4.  1 x 100, 1 x 200, 1 x 400, 1 x 800, 1 x 100, 1 x 200, 1 x 400, 1

I am comfortable with all of the above.  Tomorrow morning I'm going
to try the ladder with 1000 at the top instead of 800 and progress
through the weeks like that ( building by 200m)
Any new ideas would be of great interest to me.

    Thanks,

    Ben

how long are the breaks in between sprints? for your number 2. you
should do 4 x 200 with a break of one minute in between..then a 5
minute rest followed by the other 4 x 200 with a one minute break in
between.

I'm running easily after each 100, 200, etc.  I haven't timed the 'rest'
periods but I would guess that the time running after each effort is at least
double that during the effort.

Have you tried hill work as an addition to your present intervals. One workout
could be 15x200 up a steep hill with heart rate returning to 135 for the
interval. Do once a week.
