31st San Dieguito Half Marathon, Kathy Loper Events 619-298-7400,
www.kathyloperevents.com.   It's called a beautiful, scenic rolling course.
It is all that.  Can be in the low 50's depending on the weather.  Great
course through part of Rancho Santa Fe.   Home of many wealthy and famous
or anonymous, except for Heavens Gate.   Truly a great race, in a great
location.  The last mile has part of a gradual uphill.

The Hash House Harriers are out in force as the volunteer support for the
half marathon.

That last hill sure didn't seem gradual.
At least they played the Hawaii 5-0 theme right before you hit it!
