Maybe slowing down your pace so that you run longer rather than
tearing up the ground all at once? I am three weeks into being a
runner, and joined a group that meets once a week and offers
training and assistance for new runners...this was the first
thing they told me, after "get some running shoes". It's made all
the difference. I thought I couldn't run at all until someone
showed me how to pace myself, THEN work up to speed after you
have a decent distance going.
Hope you get some help.
Enjoy the run,
Chris

I would recommend just running until you are tired, then walk for a
few minutes.  Do this repeatedly, until you are very tired.  Everyday
you will improve noticeably, and in about1 to 2 months, you will be
able to run very well.  Just make sure you practice atleast 2 times a
week.  Once a week won't do much.  And try to enjoy yourself.
