Any particular part of your leg that hurts?

Don't know how long you've been running, maybe you should go to
alternate days, less stress on legs. Walk, swim, bicycle on off days,
that is what I do. I'm 6 foot 3 inches, currently 227 pounds in the
buff, fifty times around the sun.
I only run in New Balance shoes. For several years I ran in 585's,
586's, then 587's, supposedly the same model, but "improved" each
successive year, but the 585 was better. Currently I use the 991 which
is much better, more cushioning, sole lasts a long time. I had a stroke
in December, my left leg was affected some, I had to alter the way I
walk and run as some brain tissue was destroyed, my balance is still off
some. My left foot now wears the shoe a bit off sided, the right foot
wears the shoe out uniformly neutral.
I get more life out of the shoe building up worn out sections with SHOE
GOO.
I think it such a joke with today's shoe market and supposedly so many
foot problems. In my day it was either KEDS or CONVERSE flats---NO
cushioning. HELL you'll adapt to the shoe and conditions, if you put
in enough miles! In the Navy SEABEES we ran in our steel toed combat
boots, for Pete's sake, an hour at a time!
I buy my shoes from www.nationalrunningcenter.com but via phone and mail
order. I save $25 off retail each pair, and another $10 on a 2nd pair.
Sometimes I get closeouts even cheaper at www.sierratradingpost.com
