I suppose you could ask the citizens of Montreal if they would have
preferred "***" over bankruptcy.
Antonio doesn't care if a city/country bankrupts itself for him, as
long as he and his cronies get their perks.

The Atlanta Games made money, the city/state/universities gained some
great housing and athletic facilities, and most people went away
happy. If that's the price of "***," throw us in that briar
patch again.

I guess the people of OZ are more confident in government bureaucrats
being able to do things than private enterprise.

" Interesting," as Spock would say.

I'm feed up to read that Montreal games where a fiasco.  The Olympic
stadium cost around $1.2 billion because construction workers took
advantage of the situation an rob the COJO(Comite organisateur des jeux
olympiques)
Examples:

- working elsewhere during the day and going to sleep at the stadium
while charging the COJO.

- steeling materials from the construction site.

- installing crane on the site and sending the bill to COJO eventhough
the crane was doing nothing.

etc... etc...

Montreal stadium cost $1.2 billion because their was not enough control
on the construction site....

Everything else was GREAT....
