I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the team in training for
the dublin marathon.  Have you ever been?  If so, whats it like?  How do you
go about getting started?  Thanks

I went last year as a coach for the Arthritis Foundation's Joints In Motion
Training Team (I've also coached Team In Training, but not for Dublin). The
event was well organized and the runners and walkers received great support
from the locals. As the largest group there, Joints In Motion participants
were treated to some very nice and special care from the race staff. All in
all, a great trip.

A highly recommended marathon! E-mail me directly with any specific
questions.

I am on the Joints in Motion team and heading to Dublin in October! I designed
our team run for this morning and we are heading out to do a ten mile run on
the rail trails this morning. Its a great way to get and stay motivated for a
marathon. Once you commit you cant stop! You need to get 3500 dollars donated
to the arthritis foundation. I was lucky and got one sponser. Any questions let
me know. Ken McCann

Ken (and others), congratulations on your commitment!
Please note that the fundraising goal varies, dependent upon chapter and
location.

See you in Dublin.
