CUPERTINO, Calif.--May 16, 1997--Stevens Creek Software announced today
that it has begun shipping new versions of The Athlete's Diary (tm) for
Macintosh, The Athlete's Diary for Windows, and The Athlete's Calculator
(tm) for Pilot. In combination, these new versions allow users to perform
"athletic calculations" (time, distance, pace) on their PalmPilot, keep a
"mini-log" of them on the Pilot, and then transfer those workouts to their
desktop computer and merge them into their Athlete's Diary log. This
provides the ideal solution for athletes for whom the Pilot has become a
constant companion.

The Athlete's Diary 3.2 for Windows and Macintosh are also now fully "year
2000" ready, able to accept workout entries and perform calculations well
into the 21st century (actually as long as the computer's operating system
knows the correct date).

A number of other minor feature enhancements and bug fixes have also been
made; users of The Athlete's Diary can get complete details on our users'
page: <http://www.stevenscreek.com/userspage.shtml>.  Upgrades can be

(1-800-TA-DIARY) or fax (1-408-725-0424). The upgrade is free (for a
nominal shipping/handling fee) to users of the latest (3.1) version of the
software.

Version 3.2 of The Athlete's Diary for Macintosh and Windows, and Version
1.2 of The Athlete's Calculator for Pilot, are all shipping now. Full
information and functional trial copies of each of them can be found at:
