I will be in San Jose on business the week of 1/20. I'm looking for a
race to run in on Saturday 1/25. Anywhere in the Bay area (I'll have a
car) as long as I can make a 12:30 flight out of San Jose airport.

I am in the Bay area on business quite a bit, and have always relied on
the SFBay Runners web page (it's very complete, and carries all of the
Enviro races, which I particularly like). Unfortunately, their site is
down for renovation, and the other sites mentioned in this news group
didn't have but a couple of listings.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

I don't have info on races on 1/25, but if you're in the area frequently
and would like a group workout (all paces, from sub-5:00 to 10:00 or so),
try the Palo Alto Run Club. They meet Mondays at the track on the
Stanford Campus, and Wednesdays at the Lucy Stern Community Center on
Middlefield Road (6 pm both days). Palo Alto is approximately 20 mi.
north of San Jose, on the San Francisco peninsula.
